Lifer,no that was not me on the retracts and you are right it is cheap insurance but I'm still using a 7 channel radio.I don't have enough channels. I do keep a close watch on my battery.I HOPE...

Most people use two batteries but I have been using a single 3200 Life with a RCXL kill switch with battery elimination circuit.Got about 100 flights with no problems.
