This is the result of the "lemon-kit"... with an OS1.08 2stroker, she moved right along. Once again, if I were to rebuild a Goldberg kit, I would lean towards the chipmunk

Karol,
Don't take my criticism as a total Goldberg opinion; I may have just got a "lemon" kit and I was able to correct the flaws... I am a big fan of Goldberg products and really enjoy the flying...

The quality wood and fit on my GB Extra was one of the worst I've had. Ribs were also warped and kit ABS and gear were pretty sorry... the finished product flew well so I mark it as a success'

I agree it is a top 5 for flying but it looses points when the build is considered.... the Goldberg Super Chipmunk is another winner once built and the Anniversary Cub is a great first scale project....

I am watching this thread as I am a fan of the Goldberg Extra... curious about your tracing the parts. Have you been keeping a copy of all the ribs and fuse parts? I would like to downsize...

Speaking of the Extra60 kit by GP, anyone ever resheet that wing or find some way to make it stronger? That puppy was a handlers nightmare with cracks and thumb holes.

Loved mine until an aileron lead came loose.... hard way to learn. Great plane..... OS1.08
